Solution

lecture listening

Note-taking from any language and any source

Launch the Scribeit browser extension at the beginning of your online lecture, webinar, or educational video. Our service recognizes most of the popular languages, transcribes the speech and automatically organizes the content into a structured text format with a table of contents

Memorable & editable notes

We save your lecture notes using a special structure optimised for faster learning and better retention: the most important information is grouped into topics with theses and short explanations, a terminology section and a quiz block with 5-10 related questions.

It works like your personal learning database - easy to search and edit.

Automatic lecture notes
momorizing quiz

Training quiz

Right after note preparing Scribeit generates a quiz based on the content and asks you to run a quick self-check on main topics. This helps you to deeply understand what you have just learned

Notifications

You will receive a notification welcoming you to refresh your memory. Without repetition, our brains naturally forget information quickly.

Reviewing and practising at regular intervals is a well-known spaced effect that combats the forgetting curve, ensuring that the information remains fresh and accessible.

Our quizzes are personalized and change depending on the areas to focus on

Handwritten vs. digital notes?

While handwritten notes are linked to better retention and comprehension (this statement is not scientifically proven), 63% of students now use digital notes, and that percentage steadily rising. Digital notes provide key advantages such as speed and efficiency, searchability, accessibility, easy editing and organization, multimedia integration, and collaboration.

Our innovative technology lets you enjoy the convenience of digital notes while enhancing your learning experience. Active listening and organized lecture content, promote deeper understanding, and repetition techniques ensure effective information retention without the need for traditional handwriting.

Scribeit works as a browser extension, processing audio played in the browser, including platforms like YouTube, university websites, and videoconferencing tools like Zoom and MS Teams It supports Chrome, Opera, and Edge
After your notes are generated, Scribeit will create a quiz based on the key points and information from the lecture. You’ll receive a notification via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, and you can take the quiz directly within the chat

We only save error data. If there are no failures during the outline preparation process, such data is deleted from our system and is no longer stored. Bug data can be used by our team to improve the product and for manual case studies when users contact us for support
Run Scribeit at the beginning of the educational video so that the software will prepare the outline while you listen. We'll run all the necessary checks to make sure we're ready to make notes. Even if something goes wrong, we will warn you. In the worst case scenario we provide you a transcribed text of your lectures
We save the outline in editable format and send it to you so that you can easily add this information yourself. In future versions of the extension, we plan to make it possible to add screenshots from videos directly to the lecture notes
